Yes — we offer crisis sessions for urgent emotional needs when immediate support is required.
We currently offer virtual sessions for ages 12 and up. We hope to provide in-person services for ages 6 and up soon. Stay tuned!
Yes. We offer a complimentary 15–20 minute call to gently explore what’s bringing you in and help you decide if Daylight Counseling feels like the right next step.
The intake session allows us to gather relevant history, understand your child’s challenges, and collaboratively create a tailored plan for support.
Daylight Counseling is a private pay practice at this time. We are working with insurance companies, so we will be able to take insurance in the future!
Yes — we offer a sliding scale for families who need financial support, allowing session fees to be adjusted based on household income.

Yes — we can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work. We discuss limits of confidentiality clearly with both children and parents at the start of therapy.

Families can support progress by practicing strategies learned in sessions, maintaining consistent routines, and collaborating with the therapist to reinforce skills at home and school.
